Our heated welcome mats work by using non-slip rubber that melts ice and snow on contact. Our mats also feature a raised flower design for the best traction during slippery conditions. This low-maintenance and user-friendly electric heated door mat is easy to install and will be a great benefit during the colder months.
Give any guest a warm welcome by offering a clear path with our snow melting door mats.
Electric Heated Door Mat Care Information
When purchasing an IceTrek heated door mat, here are some key points to know so you can keep your mat in good condition and get the most out of your purchase:
- Interconnect up to 6 door mats (120V) on 1 GFCI power unit of 15 amps
- Heat from the mats may cause discolouration and/or cracking to some surfaces
- To protect decorative concrete (stained concrete) from heat damage and discolouration, it’s advised to use a layer of insulation beneath heated mats such as EPDM foam
- Never stack mats when plugged in and in use
- Always inspect the cords and the mats before use, and check for any signs of wear or damage to prevent accidents
- Clean with a mild dish detergent and a soft scrub brush to remove dirt, salt, or any other debris
- Keep mats plugged in to avoid getting moisture in connectors
Other important aspects of our heated welcome mats include:
- Use outdoors only
- Do not use mats as pet heating mats
- Our mats feature graphene far-infrared heating films, pet/glass fiber, and natural rubber
